Is a Petite Wedding Co. micro wedding for me?
If you want to have a stunningly beautiful, romantic, chic, cool, memorable wedding without the 100’s of hours of planning, vendor negotiations & communications, stress, decision fatigue, pressure & exorbitant price tag of a traditional wedding, then yes.
What is a micro wedding?
It’s the sweet spot between a full blown White Wedding and a registry office ceremony/elopement. With The Petite Wedding Co. you get all of the trimmings of a regular wedding; a bespoke ceremony, your fav humans, photos, booze, food, cake, speeches & a first dance, but done on a more intimate scale. You will get the wedding of your dreams, but it won’t cost you your house deposit. You get to celebrate your love with those closest to you, & actually get to spend time with them, rather than having 200 people there who you hardly know, let alone hang out with. You get to just show up & enjoy yourself, without all the bullshit.

Wedding Planning.
Your wedding, perfectly planned for you, without you having to lift a finger (well, maybe one.)
Day-of-Coordinator.
Your very own wedding manager to ensure the flawless execution of your special day, in real time.
Pre-Wedding Meeting.
Unlike most micro-wedding companies, we offer a pre-wedding meeting/rehearsal to get to know each other & run through the day.
Venue.
An exclusive four hour time slot in an absolutely stunning venue in central Auckland.
Venue Styling.
Our skilled team of event stylists utilise the uniqueness of the space to create something truly gorgeous.
Photographer.
Our incredibly talented photographer is there to capture the magic for the entire 4 hour period. This includes couple, group & family photos.
150 Edited Photos.
150 beautifully edited photos of your special day available for download, private viewing/sharing online & delivered to you on a USB.
Celebrant.
Our favourite celebrant is a lover of love & will make sure all the legalities are covered, to ensure you get hitched without a hitch.
Bespoke Ceremony.
Although all of the planning details are taken care of for you, the ceremony is completely your own. Our celebrant will get to know you & your lover, & craft a bespoke ceremony just for you two, to tell your love story your way. This includes help applying for your licence & writing your vows.
M.C
Our in-house MC keeps your guests on track & everything flowing smoothly. From the speeches & your first dance, to the cutting of the cake & everything else in between.
Live Music.
Our talented live acoustic musician will keep you & your guests entertained with their soulful tunes.
Food.
A tastily curated + beautifully presented grazing table with all of the trimmings, including delicious meats, cheeses, dips, fresh breads, fruit & vegetables, crackers & treats.
Cake.
Is it even a party without CAKE? A choice of heavenly flavoured cakes for you two newlyweds to cut & enjoy with all of your guests. They not only look incredible, but are mouth-watering too. And if sweet thangs aren’t your jam, we can create a delicious ‘cake’ out of cheeses for you to cut & enjoy with your grazing table.
Refreshments.
There are no drink tokens or one drink per hour maximum with us. Free flowing beer, wine & non-alcoholic bevey’s are included* & you even get bubbles or a curated couples cocktail to toast with.
*While there are no limits on drinks allowed per guest, we practice responsible service of alcohol, so you don’t have to worry about anyone getting super smashed & embarrassing you.
Floral Styling.
Our remarkably talented florist complements the event styling with dazzling floral installations.
Bride’s Bouquet. (if applicable)
An exquisite bridal bouquet for you to keep or throw! (or two for our same sex couples)
Groom’s Boutonniere. (if applicable)
A beautiful buttonhole to match your bouquet. (or two for our same sex couples)

How many guests can we have?
You get to choose 30 of your favs to share in this magical moment.

In our experience, 30 is the ideal number of guests for a petite wedding. You not only get to celebrate your love with your favourite people, but you actually get to spend time with each & every one of them. A luxury not often afforded to newly-weds or wedding guests. Plus, it keeps the price down. Win Win!
You can always have a big party afterwards & invite everyone you know.
However, if there are some super special people that MUST be there, we can add another 10 for a cost of $200 PP.
How is it so much cheaper than a traditional wedding?
The way we are able to offer you the premium wedding you deserve, for under 1/3 of the average price of a NZ wedding, is to hold what we call a ‘Wedding Weekend’. Four 4-hour weddings over two days. We book the venue, furniture, stylists, musicians, catering, florist, celebrant & photographer, for two days & then split the price between all four couples. Because of this set-up, we do need to stick to the timeline + package quite strictly.

Use the Let’s Get Hitched page, & we’ll take it from there. There is a 50% non-refundable deposit required to save your date, with the remainder due 6 weeks prior to your wedding. We do have a payment plan available too.

Bride/partner 2 arrives, musician’s start, bespoke ceremony commences.

We announce the happy couple & toast with bubbles or a specially designed cocktail. Congratulatory hugs all round. A minute to breathe & take it all in.
1PM//7PM
Couple, family & group photos. Grazing table opens.
1:45PM//7:45PM
Speeches & cutting of the cake.
2PM//8PM
First dance (if you’re having one!) & PARTY.
3:45PM//9:45PM
Guests leave.

End of wedding!
Can I bring the kids?
We recommend our luxury events as an adult only occasion, so you can really let your hair down, but that is up to you!

As wild as it sounds, the average NZ wedding costs over $45,000 & takes over 250 hours of planning.
With The Petite Wedding Co. you won’t spend that, or even half of that. The Petite Wedding costs $14900 incl everything. No hidden fee’s, GST, or additional extras.
