1. so, What is a micro wedding?
It’s the sweet spot between a full blown White Wedding and a registry office ceremony/elopement.
A micro wedding is a romantic, heartfelt celebration typically involving 10 to 40 guests, focusing on quality over quantity. The smaller guest list allows for deeper connections with loved ones, making every moment special & memorable.
With The Petite Wedding Co. we specialise in crafting unforgettable micro weddings tailored to your dreams, ensuring a chic & stress-free experience that you & your loved ones will cherish for a lifetime.We offer a personalised & meaningful experience that embodies your own unique love story with a far more relaxed atmosphere. You get a fully inclusive package with all of the trimmings of a regular wedding; a bespoke ceremony, your fav humans, photos, booze, food, cake, speeches & a first dance, but done on a more intimate scale ensuring everything is seamlessly coordinated.
You will get the wedding of your dreams, AND it won’t cost you your house deposit or induce a panic attack.
2. what services do you offer in your wedding packages?

Our wedding packages are designed to be fully inclusive.
We offer everything from full-service wedding planning to day-of coordination, including venue setup, catering, decor & more. More details about what each package includes can be found on the Packages page.
3. Can we customise our wedding package?
While most of our packages are predetermined, we may be able to offer some customisable choices, such as cake flavour, bouquet style & dietary requirements.
We would recommend our Bespoke Package, for something completely YOU.

4. Can we invite more guests?
Most of our Packages are designed as intimate gatherings & are dependant on the size of the selected Venue. We may be able to accommodate slightly larger groups, let us know & we can discuss potential adjustments or create a custom package to suit your needs.
5. How do we book your services?
To book our services, simply contact us through our website. We’ll schedule an initial consultation to discuss your vision & needs, & from there, we’ll guide you through the booking process. There is a 50% non-refundable deposit required to save your date, with the remainder due 12 weeks prior to your wedding. We do have a payment plan available too.
6. How far in advance should we book our wedding?
We recommend booking your wedding at least 6-12 months in advance, especially during peak wedding season. However, we can often accommodate shorter timelines depending on availability.
7. Can we choose our own date?
For our OG Micro Wedding Package, The Petite Wedding, the dates are predetermined & can be found on The Next Event page. For all other packages, you can choose your own date, subject to availability.
8. What is your approach to wedding planning?
Our approach is all about creating a stress-free and personalized experience, so you can focus on enjoying your day.
9. How much involvement do we have in the planning process?
Your involvement is entirely up to you. For the most part, all of the details are taken care of, so you get to just sit back & relax.
10. What is the cost of your wedding packages?
Pricing varies based on the specific services & customisation options you choose. We offer a range of packages to fit different budgets. Please contact us for a personalised quote.
11. What happens if we need to cancel?
Life happens. We get that. And if shit does happen, we will try everything within our power to resell your wedding slot. Unfortunately, if between us we are unable to find another couple to fill your date, all monies paid will be non-refundable as all services will have already been paid for.
12. Which vendors do you use?
We love a variety of NZ’s top wedding professionals, utilising different vendors depending on the package/price. Rest assured, no matter what package you decide on, you will be in safe hands.
13. Do you work with specific venues, or can we choose our own?
For our Inner-City Destination Wedding & The Petite Wedding packages we have specific venues. For our Petite Picnic & Bespoke Packages we’re happy to work with any venue you choose, whether it’s a place you love or one of our recommended locations. We’ll also help with the logistics to ensure everything runs smoothly at your chosen venue.
14. Can you help with finding and booking vendors?
Absolutely! We have a network of trusted vendors, including caterers, photographers, florists, & more. We’ll recommend the best options based on your style & budget, & handle all the coordination.
15. What is your role on the wedding day?
On your wedding day, our role is to ensure everything goes according to plan. We manage the timeline, coordinate vendors, oversee setup & breakdown, & handle any last-minute issues, so you can relax and enjoy your celebration.
16. Do you offer payment plans?
Yes, we offer flexible payment options to accommodate different budgets. During your consultation, we can discuss a payment plan that works best for you. Just let us know.
